Buying a Giclee print
All of the pictures shown on the website are available as Giglee prints. An A3 size print costs £70 unframed, and these can be purchased using the 'buy' button on the gallery page for each picture. The print will be sent to you rolled in a tube via Royal Mail Recorded delivery, and postage within the UK is £7. For a postage estimate to other countries please contact me.
Commissions
If you would like a bespoke picture creating, please contact me. The ideal approach for pet or animal portraits is for me to come and visit you and the subject if practical, so that I can get to know the subject, see them in 'real life' and understand their essence. I'll take photos and will produce the image within 4 to 6 weeks. If a visit is not possible, I'll require at least one photograph of the subject that is a good likeness. If possible, several photos are preferable. I can also turn your favourite scenic photo into a watercolour painting or produce a picture of your home, so please contact me with your requirements. Original pastel pictures have a delicate dusty surface, and although it will have been sprayed with fixative the image will need handling carefully. The finished work will be sent to you wrapped in glassine paper and enclosed in a cardboard envelope, or will be available for collection or delivery as described in 'Framing' below. Commissions cost between £200 and £300 for the original unframed work. The price varies depending on the complexity and size of the required picture. Please contact me for a quote.
Framing
Framing is available, and I use Frame Art in Macclesfield. Each picture is framed with a mount in colours that are complementary to the picture. Such bespoke framing costs between £80 and £130 depending on the materials used and final size of the picture. Framed pictures are not posted out, so collection or delivery within a 20 mile radius of Macclesfield can be arranged.
Payment
The items you buy will be sent to you once payment has been received. Paypal or cheques payable to 'Annette Hockney' are accepted, or contact me for alternative payment methods.
Copyright
The entire copyright in the images is retained by Annette Hockney at all times throughout the world. Annette Hockney retains the right to use the images in promotional material, and to sell copies of any commissioned original artwork.
